Julien Brouillet
Introduction
I graduated from the International School of The Hague with an international Baccalaureate diploma (IBDP), and excelled especially in maths and physics. I followed my passion and I am now a second year applied physics student at TU Delft. My mum is German and my father is French, and I lived in The Netherlands all my life so I can also tutor in French, German, Dutch apart from English. I took French language and literature at high school, so I could also tutor the language French. The two other subjects I can tutor are obviously maths and physics.
Education
I am German/French and live in Den Haag, The Netherlands. Up until my graduation, I have attended one dutch public elementary school, and then 3 international schools. I have been in the international school system for 12 years (from 6 to 18 years old). I obtained my highschool IB (international baccalaureate) diploma in 2024 with 39 out of 44 possible points, excelling especially in the subjects Maths AA HL and Physics HL. I am currently a second year applied physics student at TU Delft (The Netherlands), having passed the first year without failing a single subject. More about my teaching style in maths and physics : For my successful grades I give all thanks to my previous tutor - my father. Indeed, after having gone through the "grandes ecoles" system (system which forms elite engineers in France), my father gained an excellent sense of insight in maths and physics and later on went to get a PHD in numerical fluid dynamics abroad, at RWTH Aachen. I was lucky to have him as a tutor and gain this insight ("the reason why..."), which was all too often not taught in class. This same "culture" which is based upon mathematical insight, I would like to pass on when teaching. I can thus provide (additionally to the formal syllabus) some extra insights which deepen the understanding.
